ASE, is short for the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. Since 1972 our independent non-profit organization has worked to improve the quality of vehicle repair and service by testing and certifying automotive professionals.

The Automotive Management Institute (AMi) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing industry-recognized professional management certificates and designations to the service and collision repair segments of the automotive industry. AMi collaborates with industry training providers to accredit live instructor-led courses as well as online courses through the AMi Learning Management System. The organization manages the industry’s respected “Accredited Automotive Manager” (AAM) professional designation and in 2016 will introduce new certificates and designations in Office Management and Master-level Accredited Automotive Manager.
